Hello – I’m Jade Mottley – Sport Scientist, Personal Trainer, Founder of Performance For All … and occasional cake lover!
A little bit about me
I graduated in 2012 with a Sport Science degree and have made my career an area of important investment for me ever since. I am continuously learning more about the sport and fitness sector gaining valuable qualifications, training and experience. My diverse experience, skill set and passion were key to getting my business started and how Performance For All is going today, growing from strength to strength!
“I completely fell in love with the vision and ethos of the brand”
How I came to loving Zaazee
I met Zaazee’s founder Deb through Manchester networking and social media and after a coffee, good gossip and putting the world to rights, completely fell in love with the vision and ethos of the brand. Deb is a huge inspiration to me. She is a successful in both business and home and I completely love her drive to share her passions and experiences with ZAAZEE to the female market! I currently wear the Capris leggings as my unofficial uniform for Personal Trainer and have shared the brand with our other trainers who too sport the Capris! There are sooo many more things on my wish list…. ZZZOEY!!
More about my business
…. Performance For All (Performance For All Ltd and Performance For All CIC) was founded in 2015, based on the experiences I had from previous employment and opportunities within the sports and fitness industry in both mainstream and disability sectors. Working in various settings including professional / semi-profession football and rugby clubs, national disability charities, commercial gyms and private personal training clinics, I observed that there were often barriers for participation, equipment and specialist coaching. Observing this I wanted to be a part of a bigger movement and be able to assist in making changes. This was my drive for establishing Performance For All and volunteering and supporting organisations such as Special Olympics Great Britain where I am the Manchester Lead for their Motor Activities Training Programme.
Our biggest achievement
…. to date is working with Special Olympian, Kiera Byland. I was privileged to be her Personal Trainer and share her training journey up to the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles in 2015 where she amazingly and successfully won 3 Gold Medals in cycling and is now a 3-time world champion!! Being a part of such an inspiring young ladies journey was the proudest moment I have had as a coach to date. Sharing experiences such as being interviewed for ITV Granada Reports and presenting in local Special Educational Needs schools, we didn’t want the journey to end for us both working together. Our social enterprise has now gone into a joint venture with Kiera, on a project called ‘The Kiera Project’. This is a pilot project currently funded by the Big Lottery Fund allowing the opportunity for our athlete ambassador to share her journey of becoming a 3-time world champion, with the aims to educate others how to lead a healthy and active lifestyle, whilst raising awareness for disability sport and in particular Special Olympics Great Britain.
“We empower women to be a part of their own journey through a holistic approach with the primary focus on improved confidence.” – Fit Fierce
What’s next?
I have recently co-founded a new business venture called ‘Fierce Fit’. Fierce Fit is the first business of it’s kind in the heart of Manchester and launched at the start of April. We are a female-focused personal training clinic, for females led by females. Fierce Fit is established to improve women’s lifestyle and personal goals. I believe that the industry is currently saturated with quick-fix transformations that for some can be very anxiety provoking and cause women to compare themselves and their results with others rather than focusing on their own journey to success and happiness. We empower women to be a part of their own journey through a holistic approach with the primary focus on improved confidence.
